Introduction of the new Campus Management System myCampus

After years of preparation, Leuphana University of Lüneburg is introducing the Campus Management System myCampus in cooperation with TU Graz. This is a great opportunity to consolidate existing IT systems of the university, to digitalize and simplify administrative processes and to improve administrative processes in teaching & learning.  

The project to introduce the new system is divided into two phases:

  • In the (current) introduction phase I, the systems of the provider HIS Hochschul-Informations-System eG (HIS) for the areas „Application and Admission“ as well as „Student Administration“ and „Exam Administration“ will be replaced in the course of the summer semester 2023.
  • Phase II provides for the integration of myStudy functionalities into myCampus.

CHANGES AND NOTES FOR STUDENTS

Beginning May 16, 2023, and continuing through July 2023, the replacement of the QIS system with myCampus will take place. In the course of the replacement, your previous performance data (e.g. grades) will be migrated to the new system. We recommend that you download a current transcript from QIS by 14.05.2023 and compare it later with the entries in myCampus. We have created a (video) tutorial for this: xxx. 

You can register and deregister for exams in QIS up to and including 15.05.2023. From 05/16/2023 until the introduction of myCampus, probably at the end of June 2023, you will only be able to deregister from exams that take place between 05/16/2023 and 06/30/2023 using the following form. 

CHANGES AND INFORMATION FOR LECTURERS AND ADMINISTRATIVE EMPLOYEES

The professional check of the consecutive nature of applications to Master's programs will be carried out in myCampus from April 2023. From May 16, 2023 until probably July 2023, the transition of exam administration from HIS to myCampus will also take place, which includes exam registration and deregistration, registration and publication of grades as well as their recognition, registration, submission and assessment of theses and awarding of degrees. Please remember to upload your grade lists for the winter semester 2022/2023 to myStudy no later than 07.05.2023 or submit them via the currently known channels. This concerns the grade lists of all Schools. All processes in myStudy (except for grade entry), Moodle, myPortfolio, and myVideo are unaffected by the change. 

INFORMATION ON TRAINING DATES

For students

The first information and training events are currently being planned for June/July. We will inform you as soon as the dates are fixed.

For teachers and administrative staff

Training dates will be addressed directly to you personally or to your department, or will be offered in due course via the Continuing Education section. Training courses for teachers, e.g. on entering grades, are planned for May/June. As soon as the dates are fixed, we will inform you and ask for your registration.
