Evaluation of theses

Click path: My supervised theses

As soon as a student has submitted his*her thesis, the Student Service (Infoportal) checks the formal requirements and notifies you as the examiner. You can then enter your grade and your written evaluation in myCampus as follows:

Call up the application „My supervised theses“.

My supervised theses

The application „My supervised theses“ shows a tabular list of those theses of students for which you have received an official examination order from the examination board by the Student Service (Infoportal).

The grade is recorded in the tabular overview of the supervised theses in the column „grade“. The selection menu indicates which grading scale it is based on. In the column „Evaluation“ to the right, you can upload your written evaluation. Confirm your entry and upload with „Save“ below the list of your supervised theses. Click on „Cancel/Close“ to discard your changes. The thesis will not disappear from the list until Student Service has set the grade valid and published it.

As soon as the grades and evaluations of the first and second examiners are available for a thesis, an oral examination interview will be arranged if necessary. For the evaluation of the oral examination interview, please continue reading here.

The grade assignment does not directly publish the grade(s), as the recorded grade(s) must first be set valid by Student Services. This means that the grade for the thesis can be entered in the system before the grade for the oral examination interview. Only when both achievements have been given a grade in the system, the grades are set valid and published together. Your review can therefore be updated again after the oral examination interview. It cannot be viewed by students.
