Login and Logout

To log into myCampus, go to mycampus.leuphana.de. This is the myCampus login page. It is available in German and English. You can change the language in the menu bar at the top right. The language you set is highlighted in black.

On the central login page, you will find information and help on how to log into myCampus for the individual user groups (students and employees, applicants, external persons).

The area for logging into the system displays two different access options:

• Students and employees with a Leuphana account please use the option „Login with Leuphana account“.
• Registered applicants and external persons please use the „login for applicants and guests“.

As a university member, you can log into myCampus with your Leuphana account consisting of username and password (cloud password). To do so, click on the „Login with Leuphana account“ button in the login area and use the single sign-on procedure (SSO) to authenticate yourself for several university services at once, including myStudy, Moodle and myPortfolio. A central login page opens. Enter your username and password (cloud password) and click on the „Login“ button. You will be redirected to the myCampus homepage. Now you can switch back and forth between the connected systems without having to enter your login data again. Please log out again after using the services.

If you would like to apply for studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg and you are not or have not previously been employed or enrolled at Leuphana University Lüneburg, you must first register in our campus management system myCampus.

If you are registered as an applicant in myCampus or if you have received a guest account from us for myCampus as an external person, you can log into myCampus with your username and password. To do this, use the „login for applicants and guests“. Enter your login data and click on the „Log in“ button. This will take you to the myCampus homepage.

You may have more than one user profile if you

• are employed as a student assistant or otherwise employed at Leuphana University Lüneburg during your studies.
• are employed as a research assistant or otherwise employed at Leuphana University Lüneburg during your doctoral studies.

In this case, after you have successfully logged in, the system will ask you which profile you would like to continue with. Decide on the respective profile by mouse click. To avoid being asked about the profile in the future, activate the box „Do not show this page again“ before continuing.

You can change your profile afterwards. To do so, click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the menu bar on the homepage and select another available profile from the drop-down menu.

You can also set a default profile in your personal settings. To do this, click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the menu bar on the homepage and click on „Personal settings“ in the drop-down menu. In the section „Default profile“ you can select,

• whether you want to be asked for the desired profile every time you log in to myCampus,
• whether you want to continue with the last active profile every time you log in,
• which profile should generally be defined as your default profile.

Save your selection by clicking on the „Apply changes“ button.

You may be taken to the „Current Information“ page after you have successfully logged in. This page contains system notifications that precede the homepage of myCampus. A distinction is made between warnings (red exclamation mark surrounded by a black circle) and information (white exclamation mark in a black speech bubble).

Some of the system notifications require your consent: To do this, activate the checkbox „Read and acknowledged“ and click on „Continue“. The next time you log in, the system notification will no longer be displayed.

You can also hide other system notifications in the future without having to consent every time: To do this, activate the checkbox „Do not show this information again“ and click on „Next“.

To go directly to the myCampus homepage, just click on „Continue“.

If you have forgotten your password for the Leuphana account (not your cloud password!), follow the link „Forgot your password? Please go to myAccount“. This will take you to the central login page for the myAccount portal for managing your Leuphana account. There you can click on the button „Forgotten Password“ and reset the password using your IDM-ID.

If you have only forgotten your cloud password or would like to change it, log into myAccount and change your „Cloud password“ in the „Password management“ section.

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself at any time. To do so, follow the link „Forgot your password? Reset your password here“ on the myCampus login page. A page called „Password help“ will open. Enter your email address with which you registered in myCampus and confirm with „Next“. If your identification was successful, you will receive a confirmation message on the next page. Now check your email inbox. You will receive a link by email with which you can set a new password. Observe the guidelines provided. Confirm your entries with „Save“.

If you want to change your password, first log into myCampus via the login for applicants and guests. Open the „Change password“ application. Enter your previous password once and your new desired password twice. Observe the guidelines provided. Confirm your entries with „Save“.
